Aloha Wagner Brothers Team,
As we sit on our Lanai in Maui, gazing out at the beautiful landscape with a 180-degree view of the ocean as a backdrop, we find ourselves thinking and talking about Fredonia Mountain Nature Resort and the wonderful people we met during our visit.
First we want to Thank You for your unbelievable and gracious hospitality. That time at the lodge made us wish our home was already built, so we didn't have to leave.
We came to Tennessee from Maui, to look at several properties to see if something might interest us to build a second home. We could not imagine that what we envisioned in our minds eye actually exists on Fredonia Mountain. Living in Maui, most couldn't imagine that there could be any other Paradise, but Fredonia Mountain offers us Paradise, only in a different way. The setting has it all, the beauty of the abundance of trees, the tranquility, the wildlife in its many forms and mostly, the feeling you have being surrounded by it all.
We love to walk and its part of our daily lifestyle. The walking trails, that take us to the magical creeks, ponds, parks and falls is truly breathtaking. What a way to start your day each morning, strolling through these areas. Our goal is to walk from our home, (currently called lot 235) and back to each and every trail.
Jimmy Wagner should be very proud of the Fredonia Mountain Nature Resort that he has developed. He is a true visionary with a refreshing focus on nature, community and preservation. The entire Team at Wagner Brothers is fortunate to represent The Fredonia Mountain Nature Resort and do so with a comparable level of pride, enthusiasm and professionalism. You’re a great Team that masterfully integrates business, knowledge, friendship and integrity.
We tempt to express our gratitude in words that could never equal your gracious hospitality. We extend our Thanks through these gifts of Aloha from Maui.

Oceanside, California has been where I have lived my whole life. Only moving three times, but five minutes away from the last house. When my mom told me we were moving, I thought that we were going to move to a neighbor’s house. Instead, we were moving to another state.
On January 1, 2006 we got to Dunlap. I noticed that the air wasn’t smoggy and there were barely any buildings. I thought I wasn’t going to like it here. I got to my new house; it was bigger and actually had a backyard or 21 acres of backyard. My dogs could finally walk five feet without bumping into a fence.
The next day we went to explore Dunlap. In my mind, I was thinking how can a town be this small! Going to bed thinking about this was awkward. On Thursday, January 19, 2006, I started school. After I met a couple of people, I thought how can people be so nice here and not in California. Coach Fletcher told me its called Southern hospitality.
Through the day, I sat in class not really understanding what the teachers were saying. I have never heard people talk with an accent. Never have I heard – yes sir, no ma’am being said to teachers. Instead, I heard “ya whatever.” I have lived here for 3 weeks. I never want to move!!

Jimmy,
Hope this finds everyone at Wagner Brothers doing well this holiday season. Karen and I felt compelled to drop a line and express our sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality that we experienced during our unannounced visit to Dunlap. We literally dropped in without warning yet you and Tim went out of your way to ensure us that we were accommodated. I’m sure that other people associated with your business were also inconvenienced as a result of our spontaneous visit you all made us feel very at home. You spent the majority of your day giving us the guided tour, leaving no Tennessee stone unturned. Again, many thanks for spending your valuable time with us.
It is impossible to describe in a few sentences the splendor and beauty of the Greenfields area and the property as a whole. What you have done sculpting this mountain property is amazing. I see a not so subtle genius in the way it has been thought out and conceived. Everything from the way in which the parcels have been aligned and divided to the fantastic natural parks to the magnificent stone bridge over Johnson Mill Creek. I can’t imaging a more astute, forward looking concept carved out of one of the most beautiful pieces of mountain property that my wife and I have ever seen. The stewardship and genuine affection that you feel for this remarkable land is evident in every aspect of the properties and their associated amenities. I must also admit to you that Karen and I were nearly overcome by the sheer magnificence of lot #48!
For what it’s worth, I have spent my adult life in the service of this great nation. That remarkable privilege has afforded my the opportunity to meet and associate with some of the finest people our country has produced, none any finer than the people that we met at Wagner Brothers during our visit. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to visit and for providing a very honest and comprehensive overview of the property and surrounding areas. Without sounding dramatic, we view the opportunity to build a home on that property as a chance of a lifetime. As Karen and I stood on the precipice of lot #48, we were both overwhelmed by the majesty of the land on which we stood. Thanks for making that possible for my family and I.
We wish you, Tim and all of your extended families the warmest of wishes this holiday season, may the joy of Christmas fill your wonderful homes! Jimmy, as you so eloquently pointed out to Karen and I: “It’s the journey that counts” – or as I like to say “it’s not the number of breaths you take in the life that are important, it’s the moments in life that take your breath away.” As we stood on lot #48 I felt my breath being taken away and I’m still gasping. We look forward to an association that lasts a lifetime;
Happy Holidays y’all. We look forward to seeing you all very soon; in the meantime we’ll be Tennessee dreamin!

We're proud of the way that we have managed, developed and preserved the property in Land in Tennessee. But, don't take our word for it ... see what some of our property owners have to say:
"We
were looking for a weekend home, but that changed when we saw all
this-we bought it on the spot."
"The drive is incredibly beautiful. By the time I'm over the mountain, I'm completely relaxed."
"...out here you can be who you want to be."
Leslie, a Chattanooga attorney and Al, Nashville businessman
"It
was completely unspoiled,"
"We liked Jimmy's attitude about the land-he was interested in protecting it."
"He's [Jimmy] been a joy to work with, putting us in touch with dependable people, from builders to bankers to insurance people in Dunlap-and that's important when you are out of town."
The Wilsons, Plano Texas
"You should see the stars out here at night."
"We bought it because of its natural beauty and uniqueness. It's a nice setting that is going to be different from so many cookie-cutter developments."
"Wagner is focused to a fault, and he's made the cultivation of these communities-matching landowners to land-a science, although it sounds more like an Eastern religious philosophy. And most of his new neighbors are awfully glad he goes to such lengths."
"Usually after you've made a purchase the developer just disappears, but we see a long-term commitment and never-ending enthusiasm from Jimmy."
The Fehns, Chattanooga
